The University of Fiji is seeking a well-experienced and competent Facilities Officer to join the Facilities Section. The position is based at Samabula Campus but the successful candidate may be required to work from other University sites and campuses when required. This role involves overseeing the daily supervision and management of campus facilities, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting the University’s strategic goals through effective and thorough facilities management. The Facilities Officer will be reporting to the Head of Campus Samabula.
Responsibilities:
Undertake and/or organize scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair requests, assigning and prioritizing all facilities tasks and arranging for external contractors for building and general university work as required;
