Carpenters Finance - Credit Officer - Suva

Location: Suva

KEY DUTIES:

• Assess and review customer credit applications and determine appropriate credit limits
• Monitor debtor accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
• Perform regular account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Liaise with customers regarding overdue balances and payment arrangements
• Maintain accurate records of credit transaction and collection activities
• Prepare debtor ageing reports and provide updates to management
• Work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to resolve account issues

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable or reconciliations will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
