Director of HR and Training | Luxury Island Resort

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of HR and Training to join one of Fiji’s iconic island resorts. 
 
This position will oversee the end-to-end resort HR function, including workforce planning, recruitment, salary administration, benefits, and industrial relations. It will also be responsible for legal compliance, learning and development, employee wellbeing, and the department's overall administrative structure.

This role would suit a self-starting Hospitality HR professional who is committed to driving HR excellence, fostering a high-performance culture, enhancing employee capabilities, supporting career progression, and implementing people-focused initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the resort.
 
Candidate requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strategic mindset with a record of success in driving employee engagement and organisational performance.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the cultural intelligence to lead and engage a diverse, multicultural team.
