Receiving & Delivery Clerk

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Raffe Hotels & Resorts is seeking a reliable and organized Receiving & Delivery Clerk to support the efficient receipt, recording, and distribution of goods across the Group’s properties. This role is responsible for receiving goods, conducting quantity and quality checks, verifying delivery documentation, and ensuring items are accurately manifested and delivered to the correct department or property.

The Receiving & Delivery Clerk will be part of the Purchasing Department and will work closely with suppliers and operational teams to ensure accurate receiving, timely delivery, and proper documentation of goods. The role is responsible for maintaining receiving records, completing delegated purchasing-related tasks, and reporting any quantity or quality discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager. The successful candidate will support effective inventory control and contribute to smooth supply chain operations in line with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete the mail bag run (island) on scheduled days of the week
  • Receiving of goods from suppliers, including completing quality/quantity checks before signing the invoice
  • Receive all orders at the loading dock at Fiji Gateway Hotel, ensuring all items (products and quantities) are as specified on purchase order and invoice
  • Preparation of bilibili/barge manifest and handover to purchasing to be emailed to properties
  • Sourcing sample items when required
  • Coordinating bilibili/barge loading
  • Delivering Finance documentation and other errands as requested
  • Complete purchasing and other errand requirements for Purchasing Department
  • Monitoring and maintaining allocated company vehicle being used
  • Any other reasonable task as requested by your manager

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum Form 6 pass or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in logistics, receiving or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of goods receiving and handling process with documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, email applications, and knowledge of Sage software will be added advantage.
  • Physically fit and attention to details.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Honest, reliable, punctual, and professionally presented.
  • Flexible to work extended hours when required.
  • Valid group 2 driver’s license.
