Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Our Client is looking for someone to own the day-to-day workflow and operational coordination of our accounting practice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage workflow, capacity, and job scheduling to ensure work is completed on time and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Lead daily check-ins and weekly team meetings to keep projects on track, identify bottlenecks, and drive accountability across the team.
  • Confidently hold senior team members accountable for delivering on agreed priorities, deadlines, and commitments, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Own and maintain Karbon as the firm's single source of truth, ensuring all jobs, deadlines, and workflow data are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate client engagement administration, including engagement letters, onboarding checklists, annual re-engagements, and ensuring work is ready before scheduled commencement.
  • Plan and coordinate recurring annual compliance programs (e.g. FBT, tax planning, trustee resolutions), including client communications, scheduling, and internal coordination.

Applicants must possess the following:

- High Quality Internet Connection
- Laptop, Second Monitor and Peripherals
- Experience with Office 365 Suite
- Experience with Karbon is advantageous
- Professional Services Operations Experience in Accounting or adjacent industries or similar relevant experience
- Able to work 8hr days on Australian Eastern Standard Time between 7am & 7pm.
