Position Title: Coordinator, Campus Operations

The Coordinator Campus Operations will coordinate the administrative functions, oversee the delivery of student services and support, and ensure overall operational efficiency at the Cook Islands Campus.

The Opportunity

The creation of the Coordinator Campus Operations role at the Cook Islands Campus aims to strengthen operational efficiency, improve delivery of student and administrative services, and support the implementation of USP's strategic goals at the Cook Islands Campus.

The Coordinator Campus Operations will coordinate the campus services, administration, and resources to ensure efficient operations, quality student support, and alignment with USP strategic goals at the Cook Islands Campus.

Specific Duties

The successful applicant will:

  • Coordinate campus operations and implement operational plans
  • Oversee student services, ICT, finance, facilities, and commercial operations
  • Support academic delivery and learning resources
  • Administer campus budget and ensure financial compliance
  • Supervise staff and support performance development
  • Maintain infrastructure and ensure compliance with standards
  • Promote student engagement and campus life
  • Ensure adherence to USP policies and continuous improvement

He/she will contribute to the:

  • Enhancement of service delivery, operational efficiency, student experience, and alignment with USP strategic objectives at the campus level.

 

The Person We Seek

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A degree qualification from a relevant discipline;
  • 3 years of relevant experience and proven management expertise.
  • Proven experience in managing people
  • Experience in planning and budgets, financial operations and reporting
  • Skills in facilities and resource management
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and community engagement skills
  • Ability to negotiate contractual arrangements and oversee project implementation
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications

 Desirable

  • A Postgraduate qualification from a relevant discipline;
  • Extensive work experience in the Pacific region is preferable in a tertiary institution;

Salary Range

  • Level 1: NZD46,412 to NZD52,237 per annum.
