MALAMALA BEACH CLUB - BOAT CAPTAIN

SSCG operates a modern fleet of fast catamarans, an overnight cruise ship, a modern sailing catamaran, an array of smaller vessels. SSCG also operates Fiji’s two most popular day trip islands.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for the safe navigation and upkeep of assigned tender(s).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that the tender is operated safely within its limits at all times.
• Ensure passenger safety and satisfaction.
• Ensure company policy, standards and procedures are followed and maintained.
• Ensure all safety equipment, First Aid Kit etc are adequately carried onboard.
• Ensure the tender is ready to be used as and when needed.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant valid Class 6 COC and associated short courses.
• At least 2 years of experience in the above role.
• A proven track record driving the tender boats and engaging with clients.
• Sound knowledge of the Mamanuca waters.
