About the Role

The Group Learning & Development Officer is responsible for supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of learning and development programs across the organization. This role ensures that all training initiatives align with company objectives, capability requirements, and compliance standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Key responsibilities include coordinating training schedules, facilitating onboarding and development programs, maintaining training records, supporting leadership development initiatives, and assisting in the evaluation of training effectiveness across all business units.

Key performance indicators for this position include timely delivery of training programs, employee participation and completion rates, improvement in staff competency levels, accuracy and maintenance of training records, and overall employee feedback on learning and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across the Group to identify skills gaps and development priorities
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring the Annual Training Plan and monthly training schedules
  • Design, update, and maintain training materials aligned with company SOPs, policies, and service standards
  • Coordinate and deliver induction, compliance, operational, and leadership training programs across properties
  • Manage training logistics including scheduling, facilitation support, attendance tracking, and training coordination
  • Administer digital learning platforms and support blended learning and workplace-based training initiatives
  • Support Heads of Department, supervisors, and Learning Champions in on-the-job training and coaching
  • Maintain accurate training records, databases, and documentation for audit and compliance requirements
  • Support training grant and levy reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements
  • Monitor training participation, completion rates, and effectiveness, providing insights for continuous improvement
  • Promote continuous learning culture and support onboarding and employee development initiatives across the Group

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Learning & Development, Education, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent recognized qualification
  • Formal qualification or certification in adult learning, workplace training, or training and assessment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of learning design, facilitation, and assessment principles
  • Strong understanding of training governance, compliance, and documentation standards, including audit and funding requirements
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with learning and development best practices and industry trends
