Lomani Island Resort & Spa is seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences in a relaxed island setting. This role is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, quality control, inventory management, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. The Executive Chef will lead and mentor the kitchen team, manage food costs and supplier relationships, and ensure a consistently high standard across all dining outlets. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, creativity, and a commitment to delivering memorable culinary experiences for our guests.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and proven experience leading kitchen operations in a hospitality environment. Excellent communication, creativity, and attention to detail are essential.

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations across all food outlets.
  • Lead, train, and manage the kitchen team to maintain high performance.
  • Plan menus and develop seasonal dishes in line with the resort’s standards and guest expectations.
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency across all meals.
  • Manage food costs, stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to meet guest requirements and deliver seamless service.
  • Support the team during busy service periods and special events.
