About the Role

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for completing financial transactions, accounting, and audit procedures for their allocated business unit, in compliance with company policy, systems and procedures. These duties will include Accounts Payable.

Key Performance Indicators of this position are as follows:

Accounts Payable:

  • AP age listing to be below 5% over 60 days
  • Inter-company account to be balanced every month
  • COD payment to be processed within 7 working days
  • Overseas payments to be processed within 10 days of invoice receipt
  • Books to be rolled over by 03rd of each month
  • Ensure all invoices are accurately entered into the system.
  • Processing of authorized invoices to correct account codes.
  • Ensure correct approvers authority is on LPO.
  • Randomly check quotes for the goods purchase.
  • Ensure all invoice matches with LPO number, Amount, Approvals.
  • Ensure proper submission of batch control book signed and approved by the supervisor and FC.
  • Ensure proper attachment of invoices orders approves as per remittance attached.
  • Reconciliation of supplier’s statements.
  • Promptly resolve queries from suppliers as/when received.
  • Ensure creditors are accurately paid within given time frames every month.
  • Ensure payment of Travel Agent Commissions.
  • Ensure all invoices are accurately entered into the system.

Month End Tasks to include: -

  • Month end stock take for all Raffles Group properties.
  • Complete list of accruals compiled for all unmatched Purchase orders.
  • Accurate month end creditors reports produced.
  • Timely completion of month end reports.
  • Assist in Monthly Stock-take and Audits
  • Any other reasonable task as requested by your manager
