This position is responsible for the efficient and effective processing and coding of external examination scripts.
The position will achieve its purpose through the following key responsibilities. Working with relevant staff and service providers, in accordance with legislative requirements:
1. Ensure all examination scripts received are verified and recorded against the supervisor attendance roll.
2. Code examination scripts against the ‘Master Centre List’ to identify appropriate markers.
3. Allocate scripts to appropriate markers.
4. Check marking the marked scripts to identify any irregularities/errors; refer all irregularities/errors to the education officer for approval.
5. Compile a ‘marker error report’, organize the scripts by ascending student ID numbers, and submit to the education officer.
6. Confirm and verify the mark sheet against the marked scripts, then submit to the education officer for approval and sign off.
7. Assist in the administration of recount and remarking of scripts as required.
Applicants for employment must be Fijian Citizens, under Age 60, in sound health, with a clear police record.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a medical certificate and police clearance as a condition of employment.
