Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

The position provides a range of logistic and administrative support for the packing and delivery of external examination scripts. 

Key Responsibilities

The position will achieve its purpose through the following key responsibilities:

1. Ensure all external examination scripts are counted, packed in the security bags and labelled as per the relevant

forms and records.

2. Inspect the examination materials prior to loading to ensure that packing specifications are met.

3. Load and transport the examination packages with the police escort and dispatch it to the respective Education Officer.

4. For post examination, ensure answer scripts are checked and distributed to the relevant examination coders and.

5. Actively contribute to all corporate requirements of the Ministry and administrative activities where required.

 

Knowledge & Experience

  1. Previous experience working in some admin environment, preferable in the area of record keeping, or in similar role is an added advantage.

 

Skills & Abilities

  1. 1. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  2. 2. Ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
  3. 3. Be physically capable to travel to maritime or remote areas when required.
  4. 4. Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines; and
  5. 5. Service oriented approach, with a commitment to supporting the operational and corporate environment of the organisation.

 

Additional Information

Performance will be measured through the following indicators:

1. Logistics and administrative support for the packing and distribution of examination scripts and examination

coders is provided in a timely manner; and

2. Required records and other necessary documentation properly maintained to standard.
