The Position serves to provide essential administrative and logistical support to the Solar unit to ensure the effective implementation, monitoring and reporting of solar energy programmes, including Solar Home System (SHS), rural electrification projects and renewable energy initiatives. The role supports technical and managerial staff by managing data, maintaining accurate records and coordinating official documentations to ensure the effective operations of the solar unit.
The position will achieve its purpose through the following key duties:
1. Facilitating the daily operations of the solar unit, including managing correspondence, database and filing reports
2. Maintaining up to date manual and electronic registers, database system and records for solar energy projects
3. Assisting with the preparation and submission of technical or management reports on the process of solar energy projects
4. Serving as appoint of contact for enquiries and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and other government ministries
