The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to MSME Fiji in the day to day operations of the Unit.
1) Communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the public by responding to queries either in person, by telephone or via email;
2) Efficient and effective recording of information on the MSME Fiji Database;
3) Provide administrative support services to line-manager and staff;
4) Perform general clerical work including filing, photocopying, answering/making telephone calls, dealing with emails and reception desk duties;
5) Undertake the digitisation of the records and files of the Unit; and
6) Actively contribute to all corporate requirements of the Ministry, including planning, budgeting and human resources activities where required.
All applicants for employment in the Ministry must be of good character, with a background that demonstrates their commitment to the public service values contained in the Fijian Constitution. Applicants must also be Fijian Citizens, under age 60, in sound health, with a clear police record. The selected applicant will be required to provide a medical certificate and police clearance prior to taking up duty.
