The position is responsible for providing effective administrative support services in accordance with civil service policies and regulations for the achievement of the Maritime Pine Development Project’s business plan goals.
1. Proper recording off project inward and outward correspondences and ensure complete and correct filing of documents in the division registry.
2. Facilitate procurement of goods and services ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
3. Attend to internal and external queries in person or through email and phone in a courteous and efficient manner
4. Follow up on invoices for processing of payment, raise payment vouchers and timely payment to vendors, and clear outstanding purchase orders
5. Daily monitoring of project staff attendance and preparation of weekly timesheets for government wage earners (GWE) staff
6. Ensure compliance with asset and transport policies by maintaining asset registers, checking vehicle running sheets and updating vehicle logbooks
7. Comply with and support Ministry administrative policies and activities including workplace health and safety, service improvement programs/activities and participation in selection panels when required
