Graduate Intern – Housekeeping Department

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

We hold our housekeeping standards to a high bar. With that in mind, we’re looking for a Graduate Intern someone with sharp attention to detail, strong multitasking ability, tech confidence, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

A little taste of your day-to-day 

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: 

  • Working closely with the Director of Housekeeping on daily tasks.
  • Handling guest communication via email
  • Taking full ownership of lost and found records, coordinating with guests and team members, and making every effort to return misplaced items to their rightful owners  
  • Communication with DHL Freight in regard to obtaining quotes, shipment, tracking details etc
  • Organize payments for shipments with guests by raising Pay by Links
  • Keeping your supervisor updated on progress, challenges, or issues
  • Overseeing and controlling supplies to reduce waste 

What we need from you 

  • Completed, or currently pursuing, a Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management.
  • Tech-savvy, with confidence using MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility with shifts—you may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or public holidays
