Receiving & Delivery Clerk

Plantation Island Resort is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving & Delivery Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for receiving, checking, and recording incoming goods, ensuring accurate deliveries, and coordinating the timely distribution of items across departments. The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills, basic computer knowledge, and a strong commitment to efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Receive, handle and dispatch all inventory items handled through the Plantation Island Resort Warehouse

·        Ensure all incoming inventory items are counted and match invoice products and quantities

·        Escalate quality, quantity or other order received issues to the manager in a timely manner

·        Complete data entry of orders received into inventory management software system in a timely manner

·        Organise and maintain allocated store-room (s) or areas to ensure that items can be easily located and stock-takes are methodical and ordered

·        At all times comply with company security and storage systems, processes and policies to protect the Warehouse inventory

·        Complete required documentation for receipt and dispatch of inventory, per company processes, systems and policies

·        Check and monitor expiry dates of items

·        Complete weekly and monthly stock-takes as required

·        Safely handle and store hazardous materials, ensuring PPE is used as provided and MSD information is complied with

·        Ensure Food Safety Plan and food hygiene regulations and policies are complied with at all times

·        Liaise with Warehouse supervisors and managers in regards to inventory par levels, identifying need to re-order to maintain inventory levels

·        Prepare stores order for departmental delivery and deliver to outlets/departments as required

·        Any other reasonable task as requested by your manager

About You:

·        Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, and understanding of inventory management and par levels

·        Attention to detail and understanding of accuracy required in receipting and dispatching of goods

·        Demonstrated teamwork

·        Physically able to complete manual handling tasks including loading and off-loading of truck

·        Ability to complete basic data entry

·        Current driver’s license

·        Understanding of food hygiene principles is advantageous
