Room Attendant

Fiji Gateway Hotel is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This role is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms, replenishing amenities, and ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering a comfortable and pleasant stay for all guests.

Key Duties Include:

·        Cleaning and servicing guest rooms and bathrooms.

·        Making beds, removing used linen, and restocking towels and amenities.Cleaning windows,                 mirrors, furniture, and all floor surfaces.

·        Servicing occupied rooms while respecting guest privacy.

·        Safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment

·        Maintaining housekeeping supplies, trolley stock, and master key security.

·        Notifying supervisors promptly when rooms are ready for inspection.

·        Following all housekeeping standard operating procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

·        High school completion or equivalent experience in housekeeping or hospitality.

·        Attention to detail

·        Good Communications Skills

·        Team Player

·        Physically able to complete manual cleaning tasks

·        Able to work unsupervised
