JUNIOR CHEF OR COOK

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Navini Island Resort is seeking a Junior Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team.

The junior cook or chef will deliver high-quality work in accordance with food health and safety requirements and company standards. The cook’s responsibilities include food preparation, simple dishes, baking, and staff meals. To perform all duties with diligence and efficiency.

Training and supervision will be provided, with great opportunities for advancement.

The successful candidate must be well presented, a team player, have sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques, be able to follow recipes, have effective communication skills, be willing to work flexible hours and duties, be eager to learn, and be able to work in a demanding kitchen environment. Previous experience, including formal culinary training, would be an advantage. 

This position offers a competitive starting salary and is island-based, with accommodation and meals provided. Days off arrangements are flexible.
