Navini Island, a boutique resort in the Mamanuca Islands, is looking for a Commis Chef with an array of skills to achieve the highest standards of food production and customer satisfaction, maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, and work effectively with other colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the day to day running of any given section
Ensure consistency of food quality and presentation
Maintaining cleanliness, stock control, organisation and standards
Assisting other chefs
Able to take control of any given tasks and maintain high team spirit
Prevent waste of food of any kind and over-production
Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner
Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications
