Carpenters Shipping - Cashier/Administration Officer (Lautoka)

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and a proactive individual for the Cashier/Administration Officer role to be based in Lautoka.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately handle daily cash transactions and issue receipts
  • Process payments, invoices, and assist with basic accounting duties
  • Maintain and reconcile cash records and reports
  • Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Attend to customer and client inquiries in a professional manner
  • Assist with general office operations and coordination tasks

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Year 12 pass or equivalent
  • Relevant certification in accounting or finance will be an added advantage
  • Proven experience in cashiering and/or administrative roles
  • Basic accounting knowledge and strong numerical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
