Bar Attendant- High Season

Plantation Island Resort is where unforgettable family memories meet genuine island hospitality. We're now looking for a hands-on, innovative, and passionate Bar Attendant- High Season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome all guests and visitors to the bar or dining outlet by displaying your genuine “Bula Spirit”, ensuring guests are greeted immediately with eye contact and a friendly smile
• Establish rapport with each guest and listen carefully to their order and any special requests
• Promptly prepare each beverage order following standard recipes, measures and mixes
• Ensure attractive presentation of each beverage, including using garnishes where appropriate
• Ensure accurate processing of all guest orders through POS, including accurate data entry of amounts and guest room or account details
• Ensure every beverage prepared and served is processed through the POS, including management or other beverage use
• Monitor attendance in bar area, ensuring guests seated at tables/couches receive prompt table service
• Monitor guests’ satisfaction, ensuring issues or complaints raised are quickly resolved
• Promptly clear used glassware and re-set any seated areas

About You:

• Natural talent for customer service and demonstrated Bula Spirit
• Willing to work flexible shift hours
• Demonstrated understanding of spirits and cocktails preparation and presentation
• Basic understanding of wine – varieties, service, food matching
• Knowledge of Responsible Service of Alcohol and food safety standards
• Attention to detail
• Previous bar service experience is preferred
