Carpenters Shipping - Accountant - West

Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and a proactive individual for the Accountant - West role to be based in Lautoka and Nadi.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations for the Western offices.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Liaise with management and provide financial support to operational teams.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory and internal reporting requirements.
• Any other Duties assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification or working towards one will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Location: Western Division (responsible for operations in Lautoka and Nadi)
