Qualifications & experience
· Detail Oriented and Experienced in managing end-to-end bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, compliance requirements and Xero Work Paper Preparations
· Strong accounting knowledge with emphasis on below areas.
o GST Return Preparation and review
o Payroll (NZ).
o PAYE Filing.
o Invoices and Bills reconciliation.
o Mgt Report preparation.
o Budgeting and cashflow forecast preparation.
o Handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables functions.
Proficiency in below software and applications
o Xero
o Dext
o Hubdoc
o Spotlight
o MS Excel
· Ability to manage daily details with big-picture thinking to ensure a truly unique experience, successful experience in a corporate or customer service orientated environment, computer literacy skills including Microsoft suite of products
· Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation, ability to work individually and as a team, ability to solve problems and alleviate conflicts or escalate tactfully
Tasks & responsibilities
· Preparation of GST Returns
· NZ Payroll Processing and PAYE Filing
· Management Report Preparations
· Budgeting and Cash Flow Preparations
· Prepare checklists, work papers, and basic job budgets
· Maintain and update client records and databases
· Follow up with clients for information, approvals, and payments
· File and manage electronic and paper documents securely
· Assist with billing, fees, and accounts receivable follow-ups
· Review client documents and request missing information when required
· Monitor work in progress to help meet deadlines
· Assist with tax lodgements, registrations, and general client queries
