Public Area Attendant

Plantation Island Resort is where unforgettable family memories meet genuine island hospitality. We're now looking for a hands-on, innovative, and passionate Public Area Attendant.

What You’ll Be Doing:

·      Sweep and mop all public area floors, ensuring floors are completed at non-peak times and utilize ‘wet floor’ signs to maintain guest and public safety

·      Dust and polish all furniture and fittings

·      Empty rubbish bins regularly and wash as needed to maintain a clean and hygienic appearance and smell

·      Clean windows and mirrors regularly to ensure a tidy appearance with no smears/marks

·      Check indoor plants, and liaise with groundsmen for watering/changing

·      Clean all public bathrooms following company procedures

·      Regularly check all public bathrooms for tidiness, emptying bins and ensuring adequate quantity of hand towels, hand soap and toilet rolls

·      Promptly lay out rubber floor mats and place ‘wet floor’ signs in the event of rain

·      Refill and maintain all toiletries, hand wash and sanitisers and paper towels

·      Provide assistance to Houseman/Room Attendants as requested

·      Any other reasonable task as requested by your manager

What We’re Looking For:

·        High school completion or equivalent experience in housekeeping or hospitality.

·        Attention to detail

·        Good Communications Skills

·        Team Player

·        Physically able to complete manual cleaning tasks

·        Able to work unsupervised
