Carpenters Shipping - Trailer Driver (Suva & Lautoka)

Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and a proactive individual for the Trailer Driver role to be based in Suva and Lautoka.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate trailer trucks to transport containers and cargo safely and efficiently.

• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of cargo to ports, warehouses, and customer locations.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip checks).

• Secure cargo properly and follow safety and transport regulations.

• Report any vehicle faults, damages, or incidents to supervisors immediately.

• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

• Maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers and port staff.

Key Requirements

• Valid Group 7 Driver’s License.

• Proven experience driving trailer trucks / container carriers.

• Good knowledge of road safety regulations.

• Physically fit and able to work long or flexible hours when required.

• Reliable, responsible, and safety-focused.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.
