Carpenters Shipping - Sales Support Officer (Suva)

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and a proactive individual for the Sales Support Officer role to be based in Suva.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales Team
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales data
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure timely shipment processing
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and performance analysis
  • Support marketing campaigns and client engagement initiatives

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field
  • Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative role (shipping/logistics experience is an advantage)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
