ASSISTANT CRUISE DIRECTOR - SABRE

South Sea Sailing, part of the South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG), delivers one of Fiji’s most exciting and vibrant day cruise experiences from Port Denarau aboard our stunning 78-foot sailing catamaran, SABRE. This role plays a key part in bringing the day to life — confidently managing the itinerary, engaging with guests and crew, and ensuring food, beverage and onboard activities are delivered seamlessly and to the exceptional standards SSCG is known for.

Role Overview:
The Assistant Day Cruise Director onboard SABRE supports the Cruise Director in delivering a safe, engaging and well-coordinated day cruise experience. The role requires strong organisation, energy and leadership presence to ensure daily operations run smoothly from departure through to return at Port Denarau.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Assist in managing and executing the daily cruise itinerary
•  Engage with guests in a confident, professional manner
•  Ensure food, beverage and onboard entertainment standards are consistently maintained
•  Support the coordination and supervision of all water-based activities
•  Liaise effectively with crew to ensure seamless delivery of the day’s itinerary
•  Uphold all safety, marine and service standards at all times

Role Requirements:
•  2 years of experience in hospitality leadership
•  Ability to work effectively as part of a flexible team given the vessel’s daily Operation to and from Port     Denarau.
•  Honest, trustworthy and enthusiastic attitude
•  Clean police and disciplinary record
