Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required
The position will be based at the Energy Fiji Limited’s Navutu Depot and will report to the Team Leader Procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure purchase orders both local and overseas are raised within the approved budgetary allocation and approved delegation framework and in compliance with EFL Financial policies and procedures;
- Ensure complete and accurate procurement accounting - batches are compiled, approved and processed incorporating Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, Invoices and Receipt into NAVISION Financial System;
- Monthly reconciliations of Suppliers statements;
- Perform General Ledger reconciliation;
- Ensure EFLs internal controls are maintained and monitored;
- Conduct Quarterly EFL Inventory Stock take;
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Accountants, Managers and CFO.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting/Finance or other relevant field;
- At least 1 year of experience in similar role;
- Customer focused;
- Have outstanding negotiation skills;
- Strong commercial focus and a passionate “can do” attitude;
- Experience in Supply Chain Management processes.
