FNE Communications has formally updated its name and visual identity to FNE Infrastructure Pty Ltd, reflecting the company’s evolution into a broader infrastructure delivery business operating across Australia, Fiji and the Pacific.
The updated name and logo recognise that FNE’s work has extended well beyond cable installation alone for some time now.
While fibre and subsea cabling remain central to its operations, the company today delivers the full range of infrastructure required to support complex cable projects, from early design through to construction and commissioning.
FNE Infrastructure provides integrated services covering civil and electrical works, design and build solutions, and project management for undersea, underground and overground cable installations. This includes the enabling infrastructure that surrounds cable laying, such as ducts, pits, landings, power systems, access roads, and associated civil structures.
The company has been involved in a growing number of projects that require coordinated delivery across marine, civil, electrical and telecommunications disciplines, particularly in remote and island environments where logistics, terrain and resilience are critical considerations.
The updated branding does not signal a change in ownership or strategic direction, but rather formalises capabilities that FNE has already been delivering for clients across multiple jurisdictions.
FNE Infrastructure will continue to work with government agencies, utilities, telecommunications providers and development partners on infrastructure projects that support connectivity, resilience and long-term economic development across the region.
