Our properties are successful and well known in Fiji and the Pacific, the cluster we are referring here consists of two properties across two different brands. The iconic Grand Pacific Hotel which is on an historic journey as we transit into IHG's Luxury & Lifestyle collection and the vibrant local favourite, Holiday Inn Suva.

A little taste of your day-to-day

No two days are ever the same, but your core responsibilities across two hotels will include:

  • Ability to multi-task and manage various stakeholders internally and externally across two hotels
  • Creating programmes to foster a positive work environment for every single employee
  • Supporting and administering an annual team member satisfaction and engagement survey
  • Overall accountability of recruitment and selection while ensuring an impactful onboarding
  • Developing creative ways to inspire and motivate the team to provide exceptional guest experiences
  • Managing employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant employee laws, policies and procedures
  • Champion our employee wellbeing priorities where we support our colleagues with health, lifestyle and workplace wellbeing.

What we need from you

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Employment Relations & Industrial Relations 
  • At least 5 years of experience as HR Manager overseeing 350+ employees in an evolving, dynamic and fast paced work environment
  • Sound understanding of the Fijian industrial relations environment and labour laws
  • Tech savvy and competent with using AI tools, Canva tool, OASYS Payroll System will be an advantage
  • Must speak fluent English 
  • Flexibility – due to the nature of our industry, you may be required to be present during weekends and public holidays.
