The Opportunity

The Coordinator Language (CFS) will coordinate Preliminary and Foundation Language courses, prepare and deliver Language Courses under the College of Foundation Studies across the USP Campuses. The coordinator is responsible for the management of Teaching Staff, Operational Logistics and resources required, and maintaining the quality of courses in the programmes. 

Specific Duties

Specific duties may include:

  • Prepare resources and facilitate classes in Learning and Teaching as part of the performance management process, ensuring high quality and innovative Learning Support is delivered to students studying via Face-to-Face, Print, Blended, and Online Learners at USP's various Campuses and Centre's.
  • Prepare assessments (in line with Approved Course Proposals).
  • Provide timely feedback to students Assessments.
  • Coordinate and participate in Marketing Activities on the various program and Course Administration.
  • Prepare reports and Semester results.
  • Provide necessary Course Information and documentation to the Head of College.
  • Community outreach

 

The Person we Seek

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A postgraduate Diploma in Language and Undergraduate Qualification in Language; and or Masters qualification in Language, Postgraduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching.
  • Background qualification in Teaching experiences.
  • A Good communication and interpersonal skills; and 
  • ICT skills and experience.
  • A very good oral and written English Language skills; and
  • Team player

The position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement

Salary Range

  • SBD 203,396.19 to SBD 264,937.47 per annum
