Your day-to-day

As Food Safety & Hygiene & Food Safety Executive, you’ll oversee the hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure the hygiene, cleanliness and HACCAP standards are maintained in line with IHG and local regulation guidelines– including all food served to guests and employees are free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination and all work areas including but not limited to kitchen and all food outlets.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Monitor daily/weekly checklist for food preparation, cost control, stewarding and food production.
  • Manage monthly food safety training report, monthly food lab test report and chemical supplier group audit report.
  • Carry out daily and random inspections of all food and beverage handling areas to ensure that correct hygiene standards are being correctly followed.
  • Assist the hotel management in applying and renewal of hygiene licenses & certificates
  • Implement critical control points system, control system procedures, evaluation of corrective actions and staff medical records update.
  • Work with Executive Chef to assists in analyzing and controlling food wastage and food cost.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all F&B personnels are aware and fully trained on the food safety standards of the hotel.

 What we need from you

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and friendly individual who is willing to learn and build an extraordinary career within a global company. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree/Diploma in Food Safety, Microbiology, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 1 year experience overseeing Hygiene & Food Safety role.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, and local health codes.
  • Certification in Food Safety & Hygiene (e.g., Level 3 or above) is an advantage.
  • A team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility - nights, weekends and holiday shifts are all part of the role
