MARINE OPERATIONS MANAGER

South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is Fiji’s most experienced and award-winning marine tourism operator offering a range of award-winning products and services throughout the stunning Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands. SSCG operates a modern fleet of fast catamarans, an overnight cruise ship, a modern sailing catamaran, an array of smaller vessels. SSCG also operates Fiji’s two most popular day trip islands.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role is responsible for the full oversight of Marine, Coach Operations & vessel-based Hospitality Services across SSCG's marine and tourism portfolio. The role ensures operational efficiency, service excellence and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

• Lead, support & manage marine and hospitality crew operations & rosters.
• Respond to operational emergencies, breakdowns and stakeholder updates.
• Drive SOP compliance and high standards of vessel presentation.
• Oversee all F&B, activities, events & housekeeping for all fast catamarans (ferries).
• Manage coach operations to enhance customer experience.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years experience in marine or operations management.
• Strong leadership and communication across a large and diverse team base.
• Ability to perform and make informed decisions under pressure is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting.
• Class 4 Master or Engineer COC (or higher) would be desirable.
