The primary purpose of this position is to provide general cleaning and assist with the effective and efficient administration support.
The position will achieve its purpose through the following key duties:
1. Attend daily cleaning [including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing) in and around the Office, building and Restrooms.
2. Dispatch files, correspondences, mails and other official documents on time.
3. Attend to general dusting of walls, thorough cleaning of windows, louvers, daily emptying of rubbish bins, cleaning of steps, proper disposal of rubbish to support Office Hygiene and Workplace Safety.
4. Assist in quality customer care and services, attend to phone calls and assist when needed.
5. Provide updates and reports where required.
6. Participate on all Ministerial official functions and ensure cleanliness, setting up of area and catering assistance.
7. Actively contribute to all corporate requirements of the Ministry, Cleanliness of Office Stations and Compound, Ad hoc requests, assist in business process improvements (smart work methods)
where required.
Applicants for employment must be Fijian Citizens, under Age 60, in sound health, with a clear police record. The successful applicant will be required to provide a medical certificate and police clearance as a condition of employment for substantive appointment.
