PART-TIME ACCOUNTS OFFICER / BOOKKEEPER
20 hours per week
We are a small, established import business seeking an experienced Accounts Officer or Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounts and financial administration.
This is a practical, hands-on role. We do not require a fully qualified accountant. We need someone who is organised, accurate and comfortable managing the regular accounting needs of a small business.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier invoices and customer payments
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Preparing supplier payment schedules
Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
Following up overdue customer accounts
Maintaining accurate accounting records
Completing payroll and staff-related payments
Preparing VAT information and supporting statutory filings
Maintaining records for imported goods, freight, duty and other landed costs
