KEY DUTIES:
Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures on marine vessels
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective troubleshooting
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of marine regulations
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Work collaboratively with the technical team to ensure vessels are operational and safe
REQUIREMENTS:
Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience working with marine electrical systems
Strong knowledge of marine electrical equipment, systems and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
