KEY DUTIES:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures on marine vessels
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective troubleshooting
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of marine electrical systems
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and marine regulations
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Work collaboratively with the technical team to ensure vessels are operational and safe
REQUIREMENTS:
- Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience working with marine electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical equipment, systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
