Essential Requirements Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment Competency in MIG welding (TIG and/or Stick welding an advantage) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols Sound knowledge of welding procedures, techniques, and equipment Strong understanding of health and safety requirements in an industrial workplace Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Desirable Requirements Trade qualification such as Trade Certificate in Welding or equivalent Minimum 2–3 years’ hands‑on welding experience in a production or heavy engineering environment Experience working to quality standards or welding procedures Forklift, overhead crane, or other relevant site licences
