Do you see yourself as a Human Resources Officer at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa?

Your day to day

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including advertising, screening, interviews, reference checks and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, performance management and disciplinary processes.
  • Support HR reporting, payroll and HRIS administration.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures and employment practices are consistently followed.
  • Provide timely and professional HR support to employees and department leaders.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives that support employee engagement, retention and organisational effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular check-up on the employee facilities as lockers and Heart of the House to comply with the standards.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and Oasys and ensure employment requirements are met.
  • Participate in all HR events.
  • Support other HR functions as assigned
  • Update HOH notice board  
  • Inspect BOH, Update Female & Male Lockers list and assign accordingly.
  • Responsible of HOH maintenance and cleanliness. 
  • Demonstrate awareness and adhere to the occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures. 
  • Be familiar with the Hotel safety, first aid, fire and emergency procedures and operating equipment safely and responsibly.
What we need from you

  • Passionate about people and hospitality.
  • Professional, approachable and able to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgement.
  • A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced in HR, recruitment or a related field within the hospitality industry.
  • Familiar with Fiji employment practices and HR processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, HR administration and employment practices will be highly regarded.
