We're a proud, growing timber operation — harvesting lumber and producing top-quality sawn timber for markets right here at home and overseas! Right now, we're on the hunt for a hardworking, positive person to join our team. This is mainly a sawmill role, with occasional logging work out in the bush when we need it — so no two days are ever quite the same!

Barinisavu sawmill
Never worked in a sawmill or logging before? No problem at all! If you've got a great attitude and a willingness to work hard, we will train you. This is your chance to learn a real trade, earn a steady income, and grow with a company that's going places.
What You'll Be Doing
Mainly at the Sawmill:
- Pulling and stacking fresh boards straight off the mill
- Sorting and stacking quality sawn timber
- Loading and moving timber around the yard
Occasional Logging (out in the bush when needed):
- Felling, limbing, and cutting trees (chainsaw work)
- Operating chainsaws safely
- Moving, skidding, and loading logs
- Clearing and preparing harvest areas
Every Day:
- Working as part of a strong, dependable team
- Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and safe
- Getting hands-on across the whole operation
What We're Looking For
- You can speak English
- You hold a valid chainsaw operator's license
- You've got general work experience — sawmill or logging experience is not needed.
- Any hands-on background works great: farm or plantation work, construction, labouring, warehouse, landscaping, and more
- You're comfortable and confident working around heavy machinery
- You're a positive team player who loves working alongside good people
- You're fit, reliable, and ready to give it your best every day
- You can provide work references on request
Skills That Are a Bonus — not required, but great to have!
- Carpentry skills a plus
- Electrical skills a plus
- Plumbing skills a plus

The Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Want to earn more? Weekend work is available for those who want the extra hours!

- Starting pay is $6.10 per hour (FJD).
