Marketing Intern, Cluster Marketing

Location: Based at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, supporting Grand Pacific Hotel Suva, Holiday Inn Suva, and Natadola Championship Golf Course.

Position Overview

Join one of the Pacific’s most recognised hospitality portfolios and gain practical marketing experience across three distinctive hotels in Fiji.

The Marketing Intern will support the Cluster Marketing team across InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, Grand Pacific Hotel and Holiday Inn Suva. The role will assist with marketing activities promoting accommodation, dining, weddings, meetings, events and guest experiences to local and international audiences.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to digital marketing, social media, content creation, campaign coordination, events and basic performance reporting. It is suited to someone beginning their marketing career who is eager to learn, contribute ideas and develop practical skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Working under the guidance of the Cluster Marketing team, the intern will also have opportunities to support and learn from colleagues across Sales, Revenue, Food and Beverage, Public Relations and Hotel Operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Campaign and marketing support

• Assist with the coordination of marketing campaigns across the three hotels.
• Help gather campaign information, images, pricing and promotional details.
• Maintain marketing calendars, campaign trackers and departmental files.
• Support the preparation and checking of marketing materials before approval.

Social media and content

• Assist with drafting, scheduling and publishing approved social media content.
• Help maintain the social media content calendar.
• Support the collection and organisation of photographs, videos and other creative assets.
• Monitor basic social media engagement and share relevant feedback with the team.

Digital and promotional support

• Assist with website, email marketing and online promotional updates.
• Support the preparation of content for accommodation, dining, weddings, meetings and events.
• Help check that published offers and campaign details are accurate and current.

Events and hotel marketing

• Provide marketing support for dining promotions, seasonal campaigns and hotel events.
• Assist with content collection during selected events, photoshoots and activations.
• Coordinate basic information with hotel departments as directed by the Cluster Marketing team.

Reporting and administration

• Assist with compiling basic campaign, social media and digital performance reports.
• Conduct simple competitor and market research.
• Support meeting preparation, note-taking and follow-up actions.
• Carry out other reasonable marketing duties assigned by the Cluster Marketing team.
