 This exciting regional leadership opportunity is based at the award-winning InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa.

 Reporting to the Regional General Manager – Fiji & Pacific, you will provide strategic and operational HR leadership across a portfolio of iconic IHG properties, including:

  • InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa
  • Grand Pacific Hotel Suva, currently transitioning into IHG's Luxury & Lifestyle collection
  • Holiday Inn Suva

 In addition, you will provide regional HR support to other IHG-managed properties across Fiji and Vanuatu.

 A Little Taste of Your Day-to-Day

 Every day brings new opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic HR leadership across multiple hotels and supporting General Managers and leadership teams.
  • Partnering with hotel leaders to drive business performance through effective people strategies.
  • Leading the full employee lifecycle, from attraction and onboarding through development, succession planning, engagement, and offboarding.
  • Coaching and developing leaders on employment relations, performance management, organisational capability, and people leadership.
  • Driving colleague engagement through initiatives such as the annual HeartBeat Survey and supporting hotels in developing meaningful action plans.
  • Championing colleague wellbeing initiatives that promote physical, mental, financial, and workplace wellbeing.
  • Building a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture that reflects IHG's values.
  • Ensuring compliance with Fiji employment legislation, IHG policies, and HR governance standards.
  • Overseeing HR reporting, compliance, systems, and process improvements across the portfolio.
  • Monitoring labour market trends, remuneration practices, and talent availability to ensure competitiveness.
  • Strengthening IHG's employer brand through community partnerships, talent development initiatives, and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across multiple properties and countries.

 What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Employment Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior Human Resources leadership role, preferably within hospitality, International group or a multi-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Fiji Employment Relations legislation and industrial relations practices, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders to deliver commercial business outcomes through people strategies.
  • Excellent coaching, influencing, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across several hotels while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting people metrics and engagement data.
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strong digital literacy and proficiency across HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to travel within Fiji and the Pacific region and, where required, work outside normal business hours to support hotel operations.
