Maintenance Manager

Tokatoka Resort – Nadi, Fiji

Are you a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for maintaining exceptional facilities? Tokatoka Resort is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our resort, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate all maintenance operations across the resort.
• Lead, train, and motivate the maintenance team to achieve high-performance standards.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, plant and equipment.
• Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Monitor and maintain electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, mechanical, and building systems.
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, purchasing, and contractor services.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all resort facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
• Work closely with all departments to minimize disruptions to guest services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance management or supervisory role within a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment.
• Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and facility management.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and maintenance records.
• Sound understanding of occupational health and safety practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.
