Data & Analytics Executive

The Role 

Pepper Advantage Hub (Fiji) is seeking a sharp, analytical, and data-driven professional to join our team as a D&A Executive (Data & Analytics Executive).

he D&A Executive will work exclusively alongside colleagues within our Irish entity as part of the Mortgage Operations department.

The role is responsible for the preparation, delivery, and ongoing improvement of operational management information, providing accurate and insightful reporting to support effective decision-making across the business.

You will prepare key client operating committee packs, develop and maintain internal operational dashboards, and deliver robust and reliable business reporting and analysis in a clear, user-friendly format that meets the needs of operational leaders and their teams.

The D&A Executive will ensure that all responsibilities are executed in line with regulations and company policies, while minimising risk for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis and Reporting
  
  • Responsible for key client operating committee pack preparation.
  • Responsible for the preparation of internal operations dashboards.
  • Provide robust & reliable business reporting and analysis in a user-friendly format which meets the needs of operational/business leaders and their teams.
  • Provide support to the wider D&A team with daily / weekly / monthly tasks and/or any business projects that may be being undertaken at the time.
  • Ensure all reporting aligns to internal standards.
  • Working cross functionally to always ensure the highest data integrity.
  • Identify areas for automation and process improvement.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data quality standards across the team
• Risk Management through Compliance
  • Identify discrepancies, exceptions or potential risks and escalate them through the appropriate channels.
  • Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with company policies, regulatory obligations and internal controls.
  • Ensure production of data and analysis is accurate by completing appropriate control checks.
  • Complete required regulatory training as directed

Skills and experience required:

• Candidate needs to be flexible in terms of working hours (Ideally from 8 pm to 5.00 am FJT).
• Report Accuracy: Deliver accurate management information with minimal errors or rework.
• Timeliness: Produce and distribute scheduled D&A within agreed deadlines.
• Data Quality & Integrity: Maintain high standards of data completeness, accuracy and consistency across reporting sources.
• Customer/ Client feedback.
• Documentation & Controls: Maintain reporting documentation, definitions and data lineage.
• Operations Experience in a Financial Services Environment.
• Previous experience in using SAS or SQL coding/scripting (essential).
• Previous experience of producing and analysing a wide range of management information in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience within financial services and exposure to a range of asset types including residential mortgages, commercial real estate mortgages and consumer finance products.
• Management Information qualification or similar (desirable).
• Experience working with data warehouse structures.
