Digital Marketing Executive

We are seeking to hire a highly motivated individual Digital Marketing Executive to join our Fiji Marketing Team.

This role will be based at the Nabua office and will report to the Marketing Manager. The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, creation, and distribution of high-quality digital content across all digital channels, including social media platforms, website blogs, and self-care portals. The role will drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and the continued growth of Digicel’s online communities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Planning and executing all company-owned, earned, and paid media campaigns in the digital space.
• Plan and execute all company-owned, earned, and paid digital media campaigns.
• Manage and oversee the organization's social media platforms and accounts.
• Coordinate social media messaging and content calendars in collaboration with the broader marketing team.
• Lead community management activities by responding to customer inquiries and guiding the Customer Care team on customer engagement and response strategies.
• Build and maintain organic relationships with local creators, micro-influencers, and brand advocates to drive earned media coverage, user-generated content (UGC), and positive digital word-of-mouth.
• Audit, monitor, and analyse social media performance, including digital advertising expenditure and return on investment (ROI).
• Track competitor activity across digital and social media channels and provide regular analysis and insights.
• Partner with Product Managers to develop social media and content timelines aligned with product launches, marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives.
• Manage marketing procurement and administrative activities, including obtaining quotations, raising and receipting purchase orders, petty cash reconciliation, and shipment clearance processes.
• Drive agile social storytelling by monitoring digital trends, pop culture, market developments, and emerging platform features to create timely, engaging content that captures youth audiences and increases organic engagement.

Academic qualifications, Skills & Experience required for this role:

• A certificate or diploma in Digital marketing or similar or
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Hands on knowledge with digital campaigns and content creation.
• Sound knowledge of Social Media platforms.
• Tech savvy with a passion for creative content creation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, within guidelines in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
• Must be willing to be available for events and activations during weekends and after working hours if required.
• Possessing a valid group 2 driver’s license would be an advantage.
