About Us:
Viti Foods Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and we specialize in manufacturing canned tuna and mackerel products for local and export markets. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Officer to be based at our manufacturing plant in Laucala Beach Estate, Suva.
Role Description:
The successful incumbent will oversee all financial transactions, including issuing payments, collecting debts, and liaising with external parties This position reports to the Accountant under the leadership of Finance Manager.
- Ensure creditors payments are done on timely basis.
- Process, reconcile overseas and local creditor account.
- Process of account invoices entry & process weekly/month-end supplier payment.
- Pass journal entries and raise LPO.
- Attend to supplier queries & solving reconciliation items.
- Assisting in the month-end close of the general ledger reconciliation.
- Submit and assist internal or external auditors in perusing documents relating to the job role.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor/Diploma in Accounting/Finance from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Good communication skills, be proactive and willing attention to detail.
- Must be Computer literate with good documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
