RESTAURANT MANAGER

Kokomo Private Island Fiji is an award-winning luxury resort located in the pristine Kadavu Group, offering exceptional culinary experiences, warm Fijian hospitality, and unforgettable guest moments. We pride ourselves on excellence, authenticity, and attention to detail.

We are seeking for a dynamic and service-driven Restaurant Manager to lead one of our premier dining venues.

Responsibilities:

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards, and leading a high-performing team to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

·       Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service

·       Maintain and uphold exceptional service standards aligned with a luxury brand

·       Lead, mentor, and develop a team of service professionals

·       Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations

·       Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

·       Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver innovative and high-quality menus

·       Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring prompt resolution of issues

·       Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control measures

·       Drive revenue through effective up-selling and service enhancement

 

Requirements:

·       Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a luxury hotel/resort environment

·       Strong leadership and team management skills

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

·       A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences

·       Sound knowledge of food & beverage operations, service standards, and trends

·       Ability to work in a remote island environment with a flexible schedule

·       Relevant hospitality qualification is preferred

·       Clean Police Clearance

·       Have a valid driver’s license is an advantage

·       Fire Warden, First Aid/CPR & OHS Certification is desirable.
