Carpenters Motors - Procurement Manager

Carpenters Motors, a division of Carpenters Fiji Pte Limited and a recognized leader in the Motoring Industry in Fiji,  is seeking applications for the Procurement Manager position to be based at Carpenters Motors - Parts Department, Suva. Key Duties:

• Develop and implement procurement stratgies for vehicle parts, accessories, lubricants, workshop equipment, and consumables.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to obtain the best value for the business. 
• Ensure timely avaliability of spare parts to support business operations. 
• Minitor inventory levels and work closely with sales, service and worrkshop teams to forecast parts requirements.
• Manage supplier performance, contract, pricing agreements and warranty claims.
• Analyze purchasing trends and identify opportunities for cost saving and process improvement. 
• Ensure compliance with company policies, import regulations, and industry standards. 
• Lead and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental objective. 

Requirements:  

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain management & logistics or related field.
• Professional procurement qualification will be an advantage 
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the automotive or vehicle parts industry.  
• Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts, inventory management, and supplier sourcing.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. 
• Experience with EPR systems and inventory management software.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
