South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is Fiji’s most experienced and award-winning marine tourism operator offering a range of award-winning products and services throughout the stunning Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands. SSCG operates a modern fleet of fast catamarans, an overnight cruise ship, a modern sailing catamaran, an array of smaller vessels. SSCG also operates Fiji’s two most popular day trip islands.
ROLE REVIEW
The Coach Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of all land transport under the guidance of the General Manager Marine Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and work with Coach/transport Operator(s) on the daily loadings. Ensure sufficient coaches are available for each run to avoid congestion, delays, etc.
- Ensure the guest and staff coaches are of high standards by monitoring performance, cleanliness, presentation (internal and external– this includes branding), music, drivers' presentation and driving skills etc.
- Monitor OTP of the coaches into and exiting Port Denarau through GPS, spreadsheets, dialogue and presence.
- Streamline the customer experience on arrival into port, by both coach and vessel, for luggage collection and check in, and customer movements between coach and terminal.
- Implementing and maintaining the coach schedule.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Graduation from an accredited vocational school or equivalent qualification.
- Working experience in a Supervisory role in coach Operations is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
